It's just been announced that Anne Hathaway will be getting married next year! Here at The Card Gallery we just love a celebrity wedding or new celebrity baby and couldn't be happier for the gorgeous 29-year-old star (did we mention we're a fan of her films too!)
Anne got engaged to Adam Schulman in November last year after three years of dating. Quite a long engagement we think, but then again she has been rather busy with blockbusters such as
Valentines Day,
Les Miserables, and the new Batman installment
The Dark Knight Rises. Now that the Batman biggie has finished, we think it'll be earlier in the year rather than later for what is sure to be some lavish nuptials.
Anne said in an interview: "We're getting married, probably sometime next year-ish. Not this year, its too big with two films coming out. I haven't started planning yet. I was filming 'Les Mis' when we decided to do it, and there was no way I could think about anything wedding-related with my head in the space it was in then. I've been so busy since then, I've not even decided what sort of ceremony I want."
We wonder whether she'll be keeping her new short hair crop for the wedding or growing it in time for the wedding. She had her long hair cut into a crop for her role as Fantine in
Les Miserables and says that changing her look was far more frightening than anything else she has ever done for her work! She admitted in
Hello Magazine: "I hadn't realised how much I played with my hair. I was really scared about who I would be when I came out the other side. Who would have thought hair would have such power? I have to say, of all the things I've done for a role - learning to jump out of windows, learning to do back flips, changing my body shape - cutting my hair was by far the scariest thing I've ever done. I've learned to embrace the short hair now and feel better for it. And I think people find me more approachable, people have come up to me to tell me they like it, which is very nice."

beautiful wedding table plans for the wedding will be stunning. Our bets for the names for the
wedding table plans include: former co-stars Christian Bale, Kate Hudson, and Jake Gyllenhall. Fellow campaigners for anti-bullying: Ian Somerhalder and Jenny McCarthy. Feeding America fellow fundraisers: Jessica Alba, Ben Affleck, and Scarlet Johansson. We would love to be considered for one of those table plans if you're reading Anne!
