7 of our favourite celebrity weddings of 2022
After two years of lockdowns and restrictions worldwide, the pandemic has significantly impacted brides and the planning of weddings. Therefore, as predicted, 2022 has been a year full of beautiful wedding days, including celebrities! With many of our favourite stars finally being able to wed this year, there were a variety of fantastic wedding days! Here are just a few of our favourite weddings of 2022…
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari
The pair officially shared their love for each other in the perfect fairy tale ceremony on the 9th of June 2022 in LA. Britney told Vogue magazine that she wants a “small and beautiful moment with family and friends” and to use colours such as “blush, white, cream, and gold”. The blush styling was certainly evident in the wedding invitations, as you can see from this image here

These colour choices fit perfectly with that magical fairy tale look to create an enchanted, princess feel. Britney had her make-up look created by Charlotte Tilbury herself, perfect for that beautifully natural bridal look.
Drenched in diamond rings, earrings and bracelets, Britney left her rose-covered home to travel in her white horse and carriage to a short but intimate ceremony in a velvet blush tent. Stars such as Madonna, Paris Hilton and Drew Barrymore were on hand to celebrate and dance the night away with their friends Britney and Sam.
Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire
Pixie and Oliver, a couple who have known each other since 2010, finally got to marry on 6th June 2022 at Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire. The couple opted for a classic colour scheme of whites, creams and blacks, which worked perfectly for this timeless and traditional venue.
The pair matched the theme perfectly, with Pixie in an ivory beaded gown matching Oliver’s all-black suit. Their wedding day massively centred around florals, with their ceremony entrance draped in bright green foliage and white and yellow roses to match the bridesmaid’s yellow satin dresses.
This theme continued throughout the reception, where they opted for pastel yellow table clothes and big floral centrepieces.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck
After their elopement in Las Vegas on 17th July, the second time round pair married at Ben Affleck’s home in Georgia in front of their friends and family on 20th August 2022.
Wearing three custom-made Ralph Lauren gowns throughout the wedding celebrations, the mansion in Georgia was dressed in all white to match the bride. From flowers to the aisle, even the guests! Ben Affleck opted for a white and black tuxedo; everywhere was dressed in white flowers and delicately hanging foliage.
In addition, the couple opted for simple rustic brown stationery to complete their romantic and magical woodland-look wedding.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker
This crazy-in-love couple finally said I do in Portofino, Italy, on 20th May 2022. They took the classic colours of Italy in reds and blues and gave them their signature punk rock twist.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they said their vows at the end of a long red aisle with red roses, gold grandeur and white candles.
Kourtney wore a white corseted mini dress by Dolce and Gabbana (whose villa they married in), and Travis opted for a black double-breasted suit also made by D&G. They celebrated their love with a first dance that world-renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded as their guests enjoyed traditional Italian foods.
Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham
Hollywood’s newly most glamorous couple married on 9th April at the Peltz family compound in front of 500 guests.
Inspired by 90’s styles, you can feel this in the couple's outfits throughout the day as Nicola wore custom Valentino and Versace whilst the Men at the wedding party wore Dior.
Contrasting with their glamorous, old-Hollywood wedding ceremony and reception, their after-party featured food trucks serving burgers, fries and chicken nuggets from Wendy’s, a company Nicola’s Dad has invested in.
Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams
After years of delay from the global pandemic, this gorgeous pair finally married on 20th August at Sunstone winery in California. Sarah walked down the aisle in a beautiful vera wang dress, one of three that the modern family star wore during their special celebrations!
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a long time friend and co-star, was the officiate for the wedding, which sent social media into a frenzy! The day was set up with beautiful summer flowers in shades of pink, yellow, red and orange, along with lanterns and foliage, adding the perfect touch to this rustic-themed wedding.
The bridesmaids complimented this warm colour scheme perfectly with deep pink satin dresses, one of which being best friend Vanessa Hudgens. The evening party took place under a sky of twinkling gold lights where guests could mingle on stunning cream boucle sofas and chairs and later eat together on tables simply decorated with crisp white linens and richly coloured flowers and red candles.
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash
After getting engaged in 2020 on Christmas Eve, the pair finally married this year in a beautiful back garden ceremony at their famous home, Pickle Cottage. Stacey shared the journey of her DIY wedding with Ikea, borrowing their tables and chairs, which she later donated to charity.
Inspired by her lavish bridal party in Mykonos, Greece, Stacey wanted to bring home that Grecian look for her big day and decked out her white garden in beautiful pink flowers. Her dress was like something straight out of a fairy tale! A beautiful blush pink princess dress, complete with a pearl-embellished veil, perfectly suited her and this special day.
